Its operating noise level is also quite high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than others.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that is able to avoid things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
It has other great standout features, including a self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can reach places that other mops don't. You can also alter the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
Like automated vacuum has multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can even avoid mopping rooms that aren't soiled. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities it is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a flexible robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this little robot is a good option. It has a range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet, and it's able to move around furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't take care of knotted rug tassels and its battery drains faster than other models we tested in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and useful automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming, but overall it did quite well. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads, without getting your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped spaces. It's extremely quiet and speedy, and it is a great choice for navigating tight spots. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and are not tied to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom, and it basically drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
